Show 80: The One Where We Send Our Condolences

It has been a sad past few days for the Browncoat community; we lost a second high profile fan, Susan Tomb, whom under her fan name “11th Hour” produced artwork which was instrumental in the fan-led styled “guerilla marketing campaign” for the release of “SERENITY” in 2005.

You can read the posting and thread, here.  As I say in the show, I never knew Susan, but she talked about her art and fandom experiences during B3 in Los Angeles in 2006 which I also attended.

If you wish to see her art, please go to the website, there is a link to her CafePress store, but we do not know if you will still be able to purchase items.

We join the Browncoat community in sending condolences to Susan’s family.

Odile and I also talk about the call for submissions for the Browncoat Ball 2012, the anomaly podcast and Odile’s forays onto other podcasts, The Martians Are Here and Highway to Mars.

Lastly, we also play “The Browncoat Anthem” by Patrick Donahue and thought you’d also enjoy seeing his YouTube video.

As always, enjoy and don’t forget you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter

You can find our podcast on itunes, here is a direct link to our page, and if you like us please make sure you leave us some feedback!

Of course you can also download the show directly from here!
