Show 97: The One Where We Polish CSTS

Browncoats of PolandWelcome to 2013!

Both Odile and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas 2012 and New Year.

We are kicking off the start of Sending A Wave’s year with a bang!  In this show, we talk with Dave Catoe (Can’t Stop The Serenity’s Global Event Organiser for 2013) about his plans for the 2013 season.

We also speak with the creators of The Signal from Poland YouTube video (posted earlier).  Both Odile and I were very excited to be speaking with Jakub, Marek and Elvis because it’s always fantastic to speak with non-English speaking fans (although their English is 100% superior to our Polish!) to learn what the fandom is like in their country.  This was even more special as our chat took place days following the retweet by Nathan Fillion for their video.  If, after listening to their enthusiasm for the show, you want to support them, please join their Browncoats of Poland Facebook page – who cares if you cannot speak or read Polish! – or if you can assist, somehow, in their quest to entice media science-fiction guests to the conventions mentioned, please contact them as I know they will want to speak with you.

This show is a long one – but hopefully, you will agree that it is worth the length.

As always, we hope you will enjoy the show and if you do, you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter.

You can find our podcast on itunes, here is a direct link to our page.

If you use iTunes as your podcatcher, please leave us a review.

Of course you can also download the show directly from here!

Take care

Wendy & Odile
