Ron Glass: 1945 -2016

Ron Glass had an infectious laugh.

I know, as I heard it on a few occasions seeing him at cons.  He also had no problem with playfully chiding UK con attendees for only having the same questions or pauses.  I could see his point, we’d paid a lot of money to have him come a long way …

He unassumingly supported the Wooten Centre in Los Angeles.  The Hollywood Reporter carried a lovely piece about this which you can read, here.

You can donate directly to The Wooten Centre in memory of Mr Glass and full details are here.

He will be missed by the fan community.

Show 147: The One With Frima Studios

I did say there was more this month!

You’ve downloaded the game and sent Joss to clean out rubbish bins while having Kevin frima-studiosSmith chase after Nudy Judy countless times; so now listen to the team behind “Con Man – The Game”.

After a brief meeting at the “Con Man – The Game” launch party at DragonCon, I was able to get Charles Anthony, Jon and Eric together in a couple of rooms to talk about how they came to be part the project.

If you are interested in the other games Frima has produced or what to keep up to date with what they are up to, then you can follow them via Twitter, @FrimaStudios and Instagram.  Their English website is frimastudio.com and their French page is here.   They are on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Phew!

I’d also like to give a shout out to Stuart McKay for yet again kindly donating a couple of cups of tea and a beer.

Of course, you can also download the show directly from here. Or listen to the show on PLayerFM by clicking here.  We can also be found on Stitcher.com here.  If none of those are for you, then you will always be able to listen to the latest show via soundcloud.com here.
